Automa8 had a good number of quality visitors to its stand at the Med-Tech Innovation show in early April. This small, specialised show attracted a variety of interested parties, the vast majority of whom had genuine interest in current or early stage projects. Feedback from visitors about the conference program was very positive, with the 3D printing presentation being a specific talking point, with possible applications with organic products firing the imagination.
As was to be expected, a number of projects were discussed where products were at an early stage of development or planning for production. Automa8 was able to offer advice regarding assistance with specific work packages (relieving internal resource pressures) and explain the benefits of an independent approach to automation…and its advantages to the client.
Whilst the show didn’t attract huge visitor numbers, this did mean exhibitors were able to spend time with clients and not fight to be heard!
The Automa8 Prize Draw attracted a good number of players, although, with typical British reserve, some exhibited ‘I really want to enter’ body language but didn’t want to be seen entering! Still, it meant there was a good chance of winning…and Robert Lester from Dalau did just that! His NOOK High Definition tablet will be heading his way shortly. Thanks to all those who tried!
